Chatteris Midsummer Festival

Chatteris Midsummer Festival will be held on Saturday 24th June and Sunday 25th June for the tenth year.


This year's festival will be Chatteris on Safari. The parade will start at Church Lane  11:00am on Saturday. Once again we have many local groups and organisations participating and it is great to see how well Chatteris is represented and supported with people of all ages joining in.  If you would like to enter please contact Chatteris Town Council.

What's on

Gates open at Furrowfields at 10:00am of Saturday 24th June entry is £1 for the whole day. 

There will be plenty of exciting activities in the field and what's more visitors can look forward to music performances throughout the day leading into party in the park, which will finish at 11pm. Why not tuck into some hot food or visit some of the stalls offering delicious food and deserts to take home.

On Sunday 25th June there will be fun for all the family too, gates open at 10:00am entry is £1. 

Plan your journey

If you are travelling by car to Chatteris, free parking is available in Furrowfields Road car parks. Please bear in mind that there will be no access during the parade as these roads will be closed. Diversion routes will be in place from 10:30am - 1pm. Many people choose to walk or cycle to the event. Please note that once your arrive, cycling is not permitted within the event area.

Who makes it happen

Chatteris Midsummer Festival is one of four 'Four Seasons' events which take place in Fenland's market towns throughout the year. The Fayre is delivered by Fenland District Council and a committee of volunteers; it is also supported by Chatteris Town Council. Many organisations and individuals within the town have contributed to the event success over the years. We would like to thank everyone involved in the Festival your support has been invaluable.
