Make sure you can have your say in the May elections! The deadline to register to vote is on Thursday 13 April.

Voting Cross

On Thursday 4 May, elections are taking place for Cambridgeshire County Council and the first Mayor of the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined Authority.

To vote, you must be on the electoral register.

If you're not already registered, you can sign up online at www.gov.uk/registertovote or by contacting Fenland District Council's elections team.

Research by the Electoral Commission indicates that recent home movers, young people, students and those from some minority communities are all less likely to be registered.

Jo Anderson, FDC's elections team leader, said "Anyone not yet registered to vote should do so immediately before it's too late. We don't want anyone to miss out on having their say on polling day.
