Get on board for free cinema goodies

Filmgoers can enjoy some fantastic freebies if they take their next trip to the cinema on board the Wisbech Tesco Bus Service.

Fenland District Council's Wisbech Bus Service Project has teamed up with the Light Cinema in Cromwell Road, Wisbech, for its latest bus service promotion.

Cinema guests arriving on the Service 68 bus between October 20 and November 20 can get a free small popcorn or a free small dispensed drink with their film ticket.

The offer is only valid when bus service travel and the film are taken on the same day, and the bus ticket must be shown when ordering.

The freebies are the latest incentive to promote the bus service, which launched in July as a 12-month pilot and needs involvement from the community to ensure its long-term future.

The service runs between the Horsefair Bus Station and businesses on Cromwell Road including the Light Cinema, Tesco Extra, Prezzos, Frankie & Bennys and Giraffe. It also covers South Brink (Malt Drive), Mount Drive, Ramnoth Road, Weasenham Lane and Queens Road as well as Harecroft Road and North End (Leverington Road).

Timetables and route information are available from numerous venues across Wisbech including the Horsefair Information Point, Wisbech Fenland @ Your Service Shop and Tesco (Customer Services Desk).

Information is also available on the Wisbech Tesco Bus web page and any questions, comments or timetable requests can be made via email to: by telephone: 01354 622318 or in writing to: The Wisbech Bus Service Project, Fenland Hall, County Road, March, PE15 8NQ.
