Community Safety

Find out how we are working with partners and the community to make your neighbourhood a safer place to live and work.

Community Safety

Safe communities are nice places to live in. Well managed town and villages are important for the economy and means that more people choose to use local services and public spaces. If you or someone you know is suffering from anti-social behaviour, the council can provide advice on how to tackle the problem.

The Council provides a effective CCTV service to monitor and protect the local community. This also supports local partnership crime reduction schemes such as ShopWatch and PubWatch. Data from our 70 cameras are recorded onto digital servers in our control room and is stored for at least 28 days. For more information about our CCTV and the services we provide, email cctv@fenland.gov.uk.
