Emergency Planning

How to prepare and what to do in case of an emergency.

Emergency planning

Fenland District Council employs an Emergency Planning Team who co-ordinate planning, training and exercising within Local Authority Teams. This means if a major emergency happened, the right resources would work together to support the community and effectively manage the situation. Find out how the Council can help in an emergency.

We are part of the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Local Resilience Forum, which has created contingency plans and guides covering the main identified threats to the area. Further advice for local residents and businesses can be found below and on the Cambridgeshire Fire & Rescue Service website

Volunteers are wanted for a new March Community Flood Group. The group will focus on minimising the effects of flooding within their communities by planning ahead and sharing information. To find out more email
