Application for outline planning permission with some matters reserved

Use this form when applying for outline permission. This means you want to agree the permission in principle (for example, a new dwelling) but only want to submit some (not all) details such as the vehicular access information. This cannot be used for change of use applications, householder applications, advertisements or trees. 

Application for outline planning permission with all matters reserved

Use this form when applying for outline permission. This means you want to agree the permission in principle but do not want to submit any details at this stage. This cannot be used for change of use applications, householder applications, advertisements or trees. 

Application for approval of reserved matters following outline approval

Use this form when you want to submit the outstanding details (reserved matters) that you did not submit at the outline stage. 

Application for removal or variation of a condition following grant of planning permission or listed building consent

Use this form when you want to vary or remove a condition that has been put on a previous application decision

Application for approval of details reserved by a condition

Use this form when you want to 'discharge' a condition on a previous application decision. For example, a condition on a previous decision notice may ask for details of bricks and tiles before the development commences. To supply these details and get the decision 'discharged' (approved) you need to submit this type of application

Application for planning permission for relevant demolition in a conservation area

Use this form when you want to demolish something in a conservation area over 115 cubic metres. You may also need full or householder permission - there is a combined form for this

Application for listed building consent for alterations, extension or demolition of a listed building

Use this form when you want to carry out works to a listed building. You may also need full or householder permission - there is a combined form for this

Application for tree works.

Use this form when you want to carry out works to trees subject to a Tree Preservation Order (TPO). You can also use it to notify proposed works to trees in conservation areas

Application for consent to display an advertisement(s)

For use when applying to erect an advertisement on a building or on land

Application for a Lawful Development Certificate for a proposed use or development.

This form is used to find out if you need planning permission. 

Application for a new planning permission to replace an extant planning permission in order to extend the time limit for implementation

This is for applications granted prior to 1 October 2010 which are still extant. This means that unless the commencement condition is for a period longer than three years, you will no longer be able to apply for this type of application

Application for non-material amendment following a grant of planning permission

Use this form if you want to make some amendments to an approved application and need to know if a further planning application is required. This type of application will determine whether the amendments can go ahead without a further full planning application or if an application is required
