Taxi Tariff Consultation
A consultation on proposed changes to the maximum Hackney Carriage fare tariffs in Fenland.
In February 2022, we asked for your thoughts and feedback on increasing tariff rates, following requests from the Taxi trade.
The consultation finished on 1 April 2022. The Licensing Team received 30 responses to the consultation which represents a 22.38% response from the trade to the proposed options for tariff increases, with 13 voting for Option A increases , 15 for Option B and 2 votes for no increase.
Members of the Licensing Committee considered the proposals and responses at a meeting of the committee on 20 April 2022, when they agreed to approve Option A for a taxi fare increase for referral to Council for ratification and implementation. View the meeting Agenda and Minutes.
