Chatteris parish poll

Residents can only take part in the poll by visiting their local polling station. Unlike an election, they will not be able to vote by post or proxy and no polling cards will be issued.

The question being posed in the poll is:

• Would you like Wenny Meadow to be designated as a local green space and protected from development?

The question is to be answered on the ballot paper with a 'yes' or 'no' response only.

The polling stations that will be used for the poll are:

• AA Birch Ward - Chatteris Library, 2 Furrowfields Road, Chatteris, PE16 6DY
• AB Slade Lode Ward - Quaker Way Residents Community Room, Quaker Way, Chatteris, PE16 6PB
• AC The Mills Ward - The Masonic Hall, 24 Huntingdon Road, Chatteris, PE16 6ED
• AD Wenneye Ward - Emmanual Church Hall, East Park Street, Chatteris, PE16 6LD

The poll was requested at a meeting of Chatteris Town Council on 28 April 2022.
