Decision:

To set the fees for garden waste season 2025 to 2026 as £59 per card/cash subscription and £47 for direct debit payments.

 

Reasons for the decision:

Fees to be publicised in autumn 2024 and existing customers to be communicated with early prior to 2025/26 subscriptions going on sale on 1 December 2024.

 

Garden Waste service forms part of the Council’s Medium Term Financial Plan.

 

The service was set out in 2016 by Cabinet as cost neutral and as such fees increase in line with increasing service-related costs.
