To confirm and sign the minutes of the previous meeting held 21 September 2021.

The minutes of the meeting held 21 September 2021 were confirmed and signed.

(Councillor Miscandlon abstained from approving the minutes as he was not at the September meeting).

To update Members on the outcome of the public consultation for the draft policy document and for them to consider the results of the consultation on the draft Statement of Gambling Principles for the period of 2022-2025.

Members reviewed the draft Gambling Statement of Principles 2022-2025 Licensing Policy presented by Michelle Bishop.

Councillor Maul said he was happy to approve this report as this is the second time that the Committee has been through it. Councillor Humphrey agreed and said although it is necessary to update it every three years, we were confident that no updates were required. when we agreed to put it out for consultation.

Councillor Miscandlon said he was on Licensing Committee the last time the policy was renewed. Clearly extensive work has been done on the policy to bring it up to date. He added it is a credit to the officers who updated it in such a meaningful manner. 

Members AGREED to recommend to Full Council that the draft Statement of Gambling Principles be approved for the period of 2022 - 2025.
