Background Documents: The reconstruction of 24 High Street in Wisbech has now concluded and this provides a building comprising of a ground floor retail unit and 7 1x bed apartments. The commercial unit will be let and managed using internal FDC resource Whilst the residential units will be let via the HomeLink system the day-to-day tenant management, rent collection and overview of building maintenance need to be addressed. Building Maintenance issues will be reported to FDC Facilities for rectification by FDC contractors Due to internal capacity and knowledge issues, it was felt by officers that this work should be tendered to specialist residential letting agents local to the site. Three firms were approached and the results of that request for fee quotes is not for publication in accordance with Para.3 of Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972. As a result, it is recommended that W H Brown (Wisbech) be appointed on an initial 2-year agreement with an option for a third year
