Information on the by-elections to be held on Thursday 4 July 2024
Due to the resignation of Councillor Kay Mayor, there is a vacancy on the Whittlesey South Ward of Fenland District Council and the St Andrews Ward of Whittlesey Town Council
The vacancies have been called to election, which will take place on Thursday 4 July 2024.

To vote in these elections, you will need to be registered to vote. Register to vote now if you've never registered before, have moved house or have changed your name.
You will also need to provide photographic identification before you can vote at a polling station. Please go to Voter ID to find out more about Voter ID. If you do not have one of the required forms of ID, you can apply for a free Voter Authority Certificate by the deadline shown above.

Accessibility at elections
Everyone should be able to register and cast their vote without facing barriers. A new law, the Elections Act 2022, sets out extra support which we must provide, if you have a disability or accessibility need. Count and results
The by-election votes will be counted overnight after the close of polls on Thursday 4 July 2024 at Hudson Leisure Centre, Harecroft Road, Wisbech, PE13 1RL.
