The deadline for nominations was 5pm on Friday, February 2.

A black tie awards ceremony will be held at March Braza Club on Friday, March 15.

Cllr Ian Benney, Fenland District Council's portfolio holder for economic growth, said: "Supporting and championing our businesses is a Fenland District Council priority because strong businesses mean opportunity and prosperity for all our residents - and we're delighted to see Iliffe Media running the business awards to celebrate the good work that's going on in Fenland.

"We're glad to have been invited to support with judging and to put our names to the 'excellence in agriculture' award. We have a diverse economy in Fenland with lots of innovation in many sectors, but our roots are, quite literally, in agriculture and it's something we'll always be keen to  honour.

"We look forward to seeing what entrants come forward for this category, and the awards as a whole, to demonstrate the dynamism and entrepreneurial spirit we know is thriving in Fenland."

The awards are being run alongside Fenland District Council's Pride in Fenland awards, celebrating groups and individuals who make a difference in our community.
