Join us as a Fraud and Visits Manager

  • Full-time (37 hours per week) Permanent
  • ARP Grade 7 £41,431 to £45,456 per annum

Due to successful internal promotions, we are pleased to advertise this exciting opportunity to join our successful Fraud and Visits Team.

As a Fraud and Visits Manager the main duties of your role are to lead and manage the Fraud and Visiting team within the partnership to include the prevention and detection of fraud and error, identification of domestic and business properties liable for Council Tax and Non-Domestic Rates, management of projects and ensure the service is working efficiently and providing value for money.

You should be an excellent communicator, both verbally and written, and have the ability to prepare clear and concise reports. You should display good attention to detail, be an excellent problem solver and take pride in both your own achievements and that of the wider team. You should have a desire to achieve results and have strong knowledge of emotional intelligence.

Requirements of the role:

  • Accredited Counter Fraud Specialist or willingness to work towards the required qualification
  • Experience managing and developing diverse and multi-functional teams
  • Knowledge of investigative legislation
  • Excellent people management skills
  • Ability to liaise effectively with external partners
  • Ability to motivate staff and undertake difficult conversations
  • Can engage effectively with stakeholders at varying levels
  • And above all enthusiasm!
