Find out about Chatteris, March and Whittlesey Markets

We are committed to ensure that our Markets offer a safe environment for shoppers. Being outside in the fresh air offers a different experience to the supermarkets and the traders have all taken steps to make those who visit feel at ease. We ask that all customers adhere to the government guidelines on social distancing and queue responsibly. You do not have to wear a mask when visiting the market and shopping outside but can choose to do so.

Our markets and traders have the needs of the customer at heart. Sites are in the town centre. Car parking is free.

Please note that Wisbech Market Place is overseen by Wisbech Town Council. The Cambridgeshire Fens website has details about privately run markets.

Apply to trade

We welcome businesses wishing to trade in Fenland. Our '3 2 1 Trader Incentive' makes it easy to give it a go. This offers new traders:

  • 3 weeks at half rent
  • 2 weeks at only £10 a day
  • 1 week free

To apply to trade, please complete a Icon for word Market Pitch application form [252KB].

Please note we operate a 'fair trade' policy. This means you may be put on a waiting list if your product is already sold by an existing trader.

Traders need their own stalls and public liability insurance.
