Ukraine: How you can help

Assistance for those affected by the war in Ukraine

We are horrified and appalled by the events in Ukraine and the unprovoked assault on a peaceful sovereign and democratic nation. We stand in solidarity with the people of Ukraine and are ready to offer support to Ukrainian citizens here in Fenland and those who may arrive as a result of this terrible conflict.

Fenland District Council is leading a co-ordinated response to the Government's Homes for Ukraine scheme, with partner organisations and local community groups, to ensure all new arrivals from Ukraine receive the best possible support and safe welcome to the area. We have also produced a welcome guide for Ukrainians arriving in the UK and are providing information on local services which may be useful.

We are also working with voluntary and community organisations in Fenland to identify which agencies are collecting supplies for Ukraine, so we can signpost anyone who wishes to donate items such as clothing, bedding, over-the-counter medication and toiletries.
